Canines’ rescue efforts. We join the much-needed early crew to help relieve, feed and love on 20+ sweet pups (and sometimes kittens!) just rescued from area high-kill shelters, before they continue on their way to their forever homes. We also help assist with transport, on occasion.
Furthermore, GGE Petsitting Owner, Shivonne Quintero, is a weekly Diamond Dog Trainer at the Watauga Humane Society. This fantastic program pairs teams of 4-5 volunteer trainers with dogs hand-selected by Humane Society staff. With the help of their dedicated team, these “Diamonds in the Ruff”—who have otherwise gone unnoticed—become highly sought adoption candidates that then find their forever homes!

In winter, we have studded snow tires to help us get to your babes when you’re gone.
